OBJECTIVE To evaluate the association of progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy (PML) with immunosuppressive therapy for autoimmune rheumatic diseases (ARDs). METHODS A Freedom of Information Act request was submitted for all cases of PML within the Food and Drug Administration Adverse Event Reporting System database.
