Myocardial involvement is a common finding in patients with Duchenne-type muscular dystrophy (DMD). Nevertheless, the prognostic values of standard electrocardiogram (ECG), ventricular arrhythmias, ventricular late potentials (LPs), and left ventricular (LV) systolic dysfunction have not been extensively investigated.
