Clinical and cytologic characteristics were correlated to immunologic markers in 154 patients with newly diagnosed acute myeloid leukemia (AML). The panel of monoclonal antibodies (MoAbs) was selected to identify differentiation-associated antigens of both the myeloid and the lymphoid lineages (CD13, CD33, CD14, CD15, CD7, CD34, CD10, HLA-DR, CD19, CD2, CD5, TdT).
