OBJECTIVES The study was done to assess patients in the Post-Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (Post-CABG) trial to determine prognostic factors for atherosclerosis progression. BACKGROUND Saphenous vein grafts (SVGs) are effective in relieving angina and, in certain patient subsets, in prolonging life.
