Twenty-eight patients superovulated with clomiphene citrate (CC) and human menopausal gonadotrophin (HMG) were given a single injection of 25 mg progesterone (P group) 4 h prior to the ovulation-inducing injection of human chorionic gonadotrophin (HCG).
