Industrial automation has received a considerable attention in the last few years with the rise of Internet of Things (IoT. [] Key Method Furthermore, a suitable Human Machine Interface (HMI) has also been developed for quick access to our framework. The HMI at the client side can directly communicate with the NetJury device and parameters such as, required load amount, number of packet(s) to be sent or desired time duration can be selected using the HMI.

PROFINET - scalable factory communication for all applications
- Computer ScienceIEEE International Workshop on Factory Communication Systems, 2004. Proceedings.
- 2004
PROFINET is the industrial Ethernet standard devised by PROFIBUS International for either modular machine and plant engineering or distributed IO, which can be used even in applications with time-critical data transfer requirements.
PROFINET: an integration platform for heterogeneous industrial communication systems
- Computer Science2005 IEEE Conference on Emerging Technologies and Factory Automation
- 2005
Two possible integration concepts of the PROFINET IO realtime Ethernet standard are described using INTERBUS and PROFIBUS as an example to show that it is possible, despite very different device models of the considered fieldbus systems, to implement a high level of integration.
Towards autoconfiguration of industrial automation systems: A case study using Profinet IO
- Computer Science, BusinessProceedings of 2012 IEEE 17th International Conference on Emerging Technologies & Factory Automation (ETFA 2012)
- 2012
A novel approach for the autoconfiguration of real-time Ethernet systems, and all relevant mechanisms is presented and a case study, based on Profinet IO, evaluates the approach and shows its feasibility.
PLC Communication using PROFINET: Experimental Results and Analysis
- Computer Science2006 IEEE Conference on Emerging Technologies and Factory Automation
- 2006
Tests were performed to determine the performance of the peer-to-peer communication mechanism, to evaluate the impact of switches on the system, and to measure theimpact of data size on peer- to- peer communication performance.

- Computer ScienceIEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica
- 2018
Experiments have shown that the improved approach significantly reduces the energy consumption of nodes and the delay time, thus improving the reliability of WSN, and proposes a framework called the improved software defined wireless sensor network U+0028 improved SD-WSN U-0029.
Performance Aspects of PROFINET IO
- Computer ScienceIEEE Transactions on Nuclear Science
- 2008
The paper introduces the PROFinET technology and discusses performance aspects and it is expected that PROFINET IO will play a major role on the PLC market since it is a possible replacement for PROFIBUS DP.
FPGA Implementation of Wireless LAN System for Factory Automation
- Computer Science2018 International Conference on Advanced Technologies for Communications (ATC)
- 2018
The implementation results of MAC and PHY layer of the proposed system show that FPGA logic utilization can fit with the target FPGAs which is promising for a full implementation and evaluation combining with radio frequency.
