Different conditions of culture medium, incubation time, concentration and surfactant were tested to determine xyloglucanase activity. Trichoderma viride, Paecilomyces farinosus, Wardomyces inflatus and Pleurotus ostreatus showed increased xyloglucanase activities when the fungi grown on microcrystalline cellulose as the sole carbon source.
