Supercritical anti-solvent (SAS)-atomization process was employed to produce Polyethylene Glycol particles from PEG6000/ethanol/water solutions. The effect of different process parameters on the morphology and the size of the produced PEG particles, including the operating pressure, the protein concentration and the flow-rate of the protein/ethanol/water feed had been studied, especially the influence of various solvents were evaluated.
