OBJECTIVES Problem residents are found across most medical specialties at a prevalence of about 10%. This study was designed to explore the prevalence and causes of problem neurology residents and to compare neurology programs' responses and outcomes. METHODS Directors of 126 US neurology residency programs were sent an electronic survey.
