We employ Padé approximants in the study of the analytic structure of the four-dimensional SU(2) Landau-gauge gluon and ghost propagators in the infrared regime. The approximants, which are model independent, serve as fitting functions for the lattice data. We carefully propagate the uncertainties due to the fitting procedure, taking into account all possible correlations. For the gluon-propagator data, we confirm the presence of a pair of complex poles at p pole 2 $$ {p}_{\textrm{pole}}^2…

Analytic structure of three-point functions from contour deformations

We explore the analytic structure of three-point functions using contour deformations. This method allows continuing calculations analytically from the spacelike to the timelike regime. We first

Analytic structure of the lattice Landau gauge gluon and ghost propagators

Starting from the lattice Landau gauge gluon and ghost propagator data we use a sequence of Pade approximants, identify the poles and zeros for each approximant and map them into the analytic

Positivity violation for the lattice Landau gluon propagator

We present explicit numerical evidence of reflection-positivity violation for the lattice Landau gluon propagator in three-dimensional pure SU(2) gauge theory. We use data obtained at very large

Landau gauge Yang-Mills propagators in the complex momentum plane

We calculate the dressed gluon and ghost propagators of Landau gauge Yang-Mills theory in the complex momentum plane from their Dyson-Schwinger equations. To this end, we develop techniques for a

Constraints on the IR behavior of the ghost propagator in Yang-Mills theories

We present rigorous upper and lower bounds for the momentum-space ghost propagator G(p) of Yang-Mills theories in terms of the smallest nonzero eigenvalue (and of the corresponding eigenvector) of

Modeling the Gluon Propagator in Landau Gauge: Lattice Estimates of Pole Masses and Dimension-Two Condensates

We present an analytic description of numerical results for the Landau-gauge SU(2) gluon propagator D(p(2)), obtained from lattice simulations (in the scaling region) for the largest lattice sizes to

A STUDY OF GLUON PROPAGATOR ON COARSE LATTICE

We study gluon propagator in Landau gauge with lattice QCD, where we use an improved lattice action. The calculation of gluon propagator is performed on lattices with the lattice spacing from 0.40 fm

What's up with IR gluon and ghost propagators in Landau gauge? A puzzling answer from huge lattices

Several analytic approaches predict for SU(N_c) Yang-Mills theories in Landau gauge an enhanced ghost propagator G(p^2) and a suppressed gluon propagator D(p^2) at small momenta. This prediction

Modeling the Landau-gauge ghost propagator in 2, 3, and 4 spacetime dimensions

We present an analytic description of numerical results for the ghost propagator G(p(2)) in the minimal Landau gauge on the lattice. The data were produced in the SU(2) case using the largest lattice
