Models are used as the basis for design and testing of software. The Unified Modeling Language(UML) is used to capture and model the requirements of a software system. One of the major requirements of a development process is to detect defects as early as possible. Effective prioritization of scenarios helps in early detection of defects as well maximize effort and utilization of resources.
