INTRODUCTION This chapter introduces the principles of an integrated model for managing impaired function. This model comes from anatomical and biomechanical studies of the pelvis, as well as from the clinical experience of treating patients with lumbopelvic pain (Lee 2001, Lee & Vleeming 2003).
