The bispectrum vanishes for linear Gaussian fields and is thus a sensitive probe of non-linearities and non-Gaussianities in the cosmic density field. Hence, a detection of the bispectrum in the halo density field would enable tight constraints on non-Gaussian processes in the early Universe and allow inference of the dynamics driving inflation. We present a tree level derivation of the halo bispectrum arising from non-linear clustering, non-linear biasing and primordial non-Gaussianity. A…
Primordial non-Gaussianity in the bispectra of large-scale structure
The statistics of large-scale structure in the Universe can be used to probe non-Gaussianity of the primordial density field, complementary to existing constraints from the cosmic microwave
Non-local bias in the halo bispectrum with primordial non-Gaussianity
Primordial non-Gaussianity can lead to a scale-dependent bias in the density of collapsed halos relative to the underlying matter density. The galaxy power spectrum already provides constraints on
Squeezing the halo bispectrum: a test of bias models
We study the halo-matter cross bispectrum in the presence of primordial non-Gaussianity of the local type. We restrict ourselves to the squeezed limit, for which the calculation are straightforward,
The halo bispectrum in N-body simulations with non-Gaussian initial conditions: The halo bispectrum and non-Gaussian initial conditions
We present measurements of the bispectrum of dark matter halos in numerical simulations with non-Gaussian initial conditions of the local type. We show, in the first place, that the overall effect of

Primordial non-Gaussianity from biased tracers: likelihood analysis of real-space power spectrum and bispectrum
Upcoming galaxy redshift surveys promise to significantly improve current limits on primordial non-Gaussianity (PNG) through measurements of 2- and 3-point correlation functions in Fourier space.
Primordial non-Gaussianity in the large-scale structure of the Universe
Primordial fluctuations are expected to be produced in the very early Universe, sourcing the anisotropies in the cosmic microwave background and seeding the formation of structures. In this thesis we
The effect of local non-Gaussianity on the matter bispectrum at small scales
We compute the matter bispectrum in the presence of primordial local non-Gaussianity over a wide range of scales, including the very small nonlinear ones. We use the Halo Model approach, considering
Galaxy bispectrum, primordial non-Gaussianity and redshift space distortions
Measurements of the non-Gaussianity of the primordial density field have the power to considerably improve our understanding of the physics of inflation. Indeed, if we can increase the precision of
Constraining primordial non-Gaussianity with moments of the large-scale density field
We use cosmological N-body simulations to investigate whether measurements of the moments of large-scale structure can yield constraints on primordial non-Gaussianity. We measure the variance,

Halo clustering with nonlocal non-Gaussianity
We show how the peak-background split (PBS) can be generalized to predict the effect of nonlocal primordial non-Gaussianity on the clustering of halos. Our approach is applicable to arbitrary
Non-Gaussian halo assembly bias
The strong dependence of the large-scale dark matter halo bias on the (local) non-Gaussianity parameter, fNL, offers a promising avenue towards constraining primordial non-Gaussianity with
Scale dependence of halo bispectrum from non-Gaussian initial conditions in cosmological N-body simulations
We study the halo bispectrum from non-Gaussian initial conditions. Based on a set of large N-body simulations starting from initial density fields with local type non-Gaussianity, we find that the
The non-Gaussian halo mass function with fNL, gNL and τNL
Primordial non-Gaussianity has emerged as one of the most promising probes of the inflationary epoch. While the cosmic microwave background and large-scale halo bias currently provide the most
Nonlinear clustering in models with primordial non-Gaussianity: the halo model approach
We develop the halo model of large-scale structure as an accurate tool for probing primordial non-Gaussianity (PNG). In this study we focus on understanding the matter clustering at several redshifts
Imprints of primordial non-Gaussianities on large-scale structure: Scale-dependent bias and abundance of virialized objects
We study the effect of primordial non-Gaussianity on large-scale structure, focusing upon the most massive virialized objects. Using analytic arguments and N-body simulations, we calculate the mass
The bispectrum of galaxies from high-redshift galaxy surveys: Primordial non-Gaussianity and non-linear galaxy bias
The greatest challenge in the interpretation of galaxy clustering data from any surveys is galaxy bias. Using a simple Fisher matrix analysis, we show that the bispectrum provides an excellent
The Effect of Primordial Non-Gaussianity on Halo Bias
It has long been known how to analytically relate the clustering properties of the collapsed structures (halos) to those of the underlying dark matter distribution for Gaussian initial conditions.

We explore possibility of using the three dimensional bispectra of the Ly-α forest and the redshifted 21-cm signal from the post-reionization epoch to constrain primordial non-Gaussianity. Both these
