Primordial black holes (PBHs) are expected to accrete particle dark matter around them to form ultracompact minihalos (UCMHs), if the PBHs themselves are not most of the dark matter. We show that if most dark matter is a thermal relic, then the inner regions of UCMHs around PBHs are highly luminous sources of annihilation products. Flux constraints on gamma rays and neutrinos set strong abundance limits, improving previous limits by orders of magnitude. Assuming enough particle dark matter…

Observational constraints on gamma rays produced by the annihilation of weakly interacting massive particles around primordial black holes (PBHs) imply that these two classes of Dark Matter
Early structure formation in primordial black hole cosmologies
Cold dark matter (CDM) could be composed of primordial black holes (PBH) in addition to or instead of more orthodox weakly interacting massive particle dark matter (PDM). We study the formation of
Radio bounds on the mixed dark matter scenarios of primordial black holes and WIMPs
We study the synchrotron radio emission in the mixed dark matter scenarios consisting of the primordial black holes (PBHs) and the self-annihilating WIMPs (weakly interacting massive particles). The
In-depth analysis of the clustering of dark matter particles around primordial black holes. Part I. Density profiles
Primordial black holes may have been produced in the early stages of the thermal history of the Universe after cosmic inflation. If so, dark matter in the form of elementary particles can be
WIMPs and stellar-mass primordial black holes are incompatible
We recently showed that postulated ultracompact minihalos with a steep density profile do not form in realistic simulations with enhanced initial perturbations. In this paper we assume that a small
Dark matter simulations with primordial black holes in the early Universe
Primordial Black Holes (PBH) with masses of order $10-30 M_\odot$ have been proposed as a possible explanation of the gravitational waves emission events recently discovered by the LIGO observatory.
Impact of primordial ultracompact minihaloes on the intergalactic medium and first structure formation
The effects of dark matter annihilation on the evolution of the intergalactic medium (IGM) in the early Universe will be more important if the dark matter structure is more concentrated. Ultracompact
Improved constraints on the primordial power spectrum at small scales from ultracompact minihalos
For a Gaussian spectrum of primordial density fluctuations, ultracompact minihalos (UCMHs) of dark matter are expected to be produced in much greater abundance than, e.g., primordial black holes.

Growth of Structure Seeded by Primordial Black Holes
We discuss the possibilities for the growth of primordial black holes (PBHs) via the accretion of dark matter. In agreement with previous works, we find that accretion during the radiation-dominated

We discuss the possibility of detecting the presence of primordial black holes (PBHs), such as those that might account for galactic dark matter, using modification of pulsar timing residuals when
Dark matter annihilation in the halo of the Milky Way
If the dark matter in the Universe is made of weakly self-interacting particles, they may self-annihilate and emit γ-rays. We use high-resolution numerical simulations to estimate directly the
