Expression of the S-RNase genes in the self-compatible (SC) apricot (Prunus armeniaca L.) cultivar Katy, the self-incompatible (SI) cultivar Xinshiji and their F1 seedling was examined in this study. Three S-genotypes, S9Sc (Sc, self-compatibility S-gene absent from the style), S8S9, and S8S10, were obtained.
