Primary giant cell tumours involving digital bones of the hand are rare lesions which are generally diagnosed at an advanced stage. Accurate diagnosis requires clinical evaluation, imaging studies and histopathological assessment. Conservative treatment by digit-sparing surgery is associated with high recurrence rates.
