The purpose of this study was to determine the prevalence of resistance to various antimicrobial drugs among Haemophilus influenzae isolates in Taiwan. Two hundred and ninety-six clinical isolates of H. influenzae were prospectively obtained from nine teaching hospitals throughout Taiwan, from June 1994 to April 1995.
