AIMS The purpose of this study was to investigate the prevalence and determinants of domestic violence in Mongolian women. METHODS The survey was administered to 5500 people in 1000 households randomly selected from two districts of Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. RESULTS The response rate was 90.3% (total of 4967, and 3338 were women.).
