OBJECTIVE To determine the prevalence and seasonal variation, and to assess the clinical manifestations and treatment of blastocystosis in Libyan patients. METHODS Three thousand six hundred and forty five stool samples were screened for Blastocystis hominis using normal saline and iodine solution preparations.
