1. Climbing fibre-mediated excitatory postsynaptic potentials (CF-EPSPs) or currents (CF-EPSCs) were recorded from Purkinje cells in rat cerebellar slices using the whole-cell recording technique. 2. Climbing fibre responses displayed prominent paired-pulse depression (PPD).
