Nanocrystalline ceria (CeO2) particles have been successfully prepared via sonochemical and microwave assisted heating routes from aqueous solutions containing (NH4)2Ce(NO3)6, hexamethylenetetramine and poly (ethylene glycol)-19000 (PEG).
