Glutaraldehyde pretreated crosslinked chitosan beads (Ch) were used for Cu(II) adsorption (Cu-Ch). The amount of adsorbed copper was determined using atomic absorption spectroscopy. Adsorption of the copper onto the chitosan was studied batch adsorption technique at 20 C.
