Antibodies specific to the dopamine D2 receptor have been raised in rabbits using synthetic peptides. The resulting antiserum was sensitive to picogram quantities of peptide as measured by enzyme-linked immunoassay and was shown to have a 33% cross-reactivity with partially purified D2 receptor protein.
