To engineer multifunctional nanomedicines for simultaneous imaging and therapy of cancer cells, we have prepared Gambogenic acid (GNA) loaded folic acid (FA) armed MNPs (FA-GNA-MNPs) to target the folate receptor (FR) positive cancer cells.
