author={Liming Jin and Fangning Guo and Aili Jiang and Wenzhong Hu},
The aim of the present research was to prepare an organic iron compound, Lycium barbarum polysaccharide iron complex (LBP-Fe), and evaluate its antioxidant abilities on scavenging super oxide radicals and DPPH radicals in vitro. LBP-Fe was prepared by chemically modification using chloride ferric and Lycium barbarum polysaccharide (LBP). The content of Fe was determined by flame atomic absorption spectrometry (FAAS) and the result was 36.71mg/g. LBP-Fe was characterized by ultraviolet (UV) and…

Synthesis and Antioxidant Activity of Carboxymethyl Chitosan-Selenium
The objective of this study was to synthesize a new organic selenium compound, carboxymethyl chitosan-selenium (CMCTS-Se), and evaluate its antioxidant abilities on hydroxyl radicals and superoxide
Synthesis and characterization of a new Inonotus obliquus polysaccharide-iron(III) complex.
IOPS-iron( III) complex was found to have good digestive availability and antioxidant activities in the in vitro assays, which suggested the IOPS- iron(III) complex might be used as a new iron supplement candidate.
Preparation, characterization, bioavailability in vitro and in vivo of tea polysaccharides–iron complex
The task of this study was to prepare a complex of tea polysaccharides (TPS) with ferric iron and research its bioavailability in vitro and in vivo. Optimum condition for preparing tea
NMR-based identification of the phenolic profile of fruits of Lycium barbarum (goji berries). Isolation and structural determination of a novel N-feruloyl tyramine dimer as the most abundant antioxidant polyphenol of goji berries.
An unreported N-feruloyl tyramine dimer was characterized as the most abundant polyphenol isolated from the berries, and usually divalent molecules show enhanced biological activities than their corresponding monomers.
Iron: deficiencies and requirements.
The administration of iron supplements weekly instead of daily in humans has been proposed and is being actively investigated as a viable means of controlling iron deficiency in populations, including pregnant women.
SnS/NC composite material has a large surface area which is the result of the stacking of SnS nanosheets on the surface of the biomass carbon substrate and forming 3D layered porous network structure which can improve the lithium-storage capacity.
