OBJECTIVES This study examined the relationship between pre-operative nutritional status and systemic inflammatory response syndrome (SIRS) or sepsis following major vascular surgery. DESIGN AND METHODS Subjects undergoing open AAA repair, EVAR or lower limb revascularisation were studied prospectively.
