Three new prenylated xanthones, 1,3,5-trihydroxy-6,7-[2′-(1-methylethenyl)-dihydrofurano]-xanthone (1), 1,3,5-trihydroxy-6,7-[2′-(1-hydroxy-1-methylethyl)-dihydrofurano]-xanthone (2), and 1,3,5-trihydroxy-6-O-prenyl-xanthone (3), together with eight known compounds were isolated from the leaves of Hypericum ascyron.
