Four 20 x 5 m sub catchments were sown to Eurochloa mosambicensis and instrumented to measure rainfall, runoff and sediment losses at the Douglas Daly Research Farm in the Northern Territory of Australia. A 1 x 1 m quadrate was used to measure vegetation cover in plan view. Attachment cover (AC) was, therefore, used as an index of total vegetation cover in this study.
