Millions of people in Africa depend on traditional medicinal plants for treatment of many diseases. Guiera senegalensis (Gs), which grows in abundance in semi-desert area of Western Sudan, has been used for treating specific diseases and wounds. This study presents the results on traditional uses of Gs as a medicinal plant in Ghubaysh village that is inhabited by nearly eighty thousands people.
