This work presents a predictive strategy that effectively mitigates common-mode voltages from power converters, that cause overvoltage stress to the winding insulation and bearings deterioration, reducing the lifetime of electric machines. The strategy must be implemented under a predictive current control method that replaces modulation stages and linear current controllers, usually employed with PWM-converters.
