Triple-negative breast cancers (TNBCs) do not derive benefit from molecular-targeted treatments such as endocrine therapy or anti-HER2 therapy because they lack those molecular targets. On the other hand, TNBCs have been shown to respond to neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC).
