Outcomes for 62 hospitalized mental patients were predicted, utilizing various background information, diagnoses, and staff ratings of behavior, as independent variables. Diagnoses and previous admissions correlated weakly with the outcomes, viz., length of stay, subsequent readmissions, and post-hospital adjustment.
