The influence of precipitation conditions (temperature, initial reactant concentrations and the mode of stirring) and some additives (glutamic acid (Glu), ornitine (Orn), tryptophan (Trp) and phosphate (PO4) on the morphology and composition of calcium oxalate initially pricipitating from high ionic strength solutions was investigated.
