Precipitation of Electrons and Protons into the Atmosphere

  title={Precipitation of Electrons and Protons into the Atmosphere},
  author={Brian O'brien},
A precipitated particle is defined here as one whose trajectory at the point of Observation is such that it will plunge from a high altitude into the dense atmosphere, where it most likely will lose all or most of its kinetic energy. A precipitated particle may have once been trapped, but some may also never have been trapped.
