This was the sixth annual survey on the practice patterns of the members of the Canadian Ophthalmological Society (COS) in cataract surgery. The response rate was 36.6%. A similar number of respondents (35.3%) performed between 25 and 49 and 50 and 99 cataract surgeries per month. The majority of the respondents (56%) had been in practice for 20 years or more.
