This paper describes the research that has been conducted as a part of a pilot project commissioned by Falbygdens Energi in the Falkoping distribution network consisting of a battery energy storage system. The main overall project setup, main components and their relation to the performance of the system as well as the control system have been analysed. Practical measurements and the impact of the system in the grid have been studied and analysed. (4 pages)
