Ad hoc networks are composed of mobile nodes without any centralized management entity. The appearance and the disappearance of the nodes are managed in a distributed way as well as the operation of routing, which forces each node to become itself router. There is an important traffic overhead to maintain the network connectivity and to assume the data transmission in spite of congestions.
