Fourteen Culicoides spp. were collected on Holstein cattle in Alabama: C. arboricola, C. bickleyi, C. biguttatus, C. debilipalpis, C. guttipennis, C. haematopotus, C. obsoletus, C. paraensis, C. piliferus, C. sanguisuga, C. spinosus, C. stellifer, C. variipennis and C. venustus.
