Endophytic bacteria have a great potential to be applied as biofertilizers and biopesticides, but their information as a source of antibiotics still needs to be developed and explored. The aim of this study was to investigate the potential sources of antibiotics in endophytic bacteria isolated from the stems of Setigi, Wahong, Bongko, Kalimosodo, Dewandaru, and Legundi plants on Karimunjawa Island. Molecular approaches were performed to isolate, characterize, and identify bacterial endophytes…

Identifcation of antibiotic producing endophytic microbe isolates from a national park in Java island
TLDR
This research was conducted to determine the molecular identity of OOH-1 and STG-1 isolates, as well as to identify antibiotic compounds produced by STg-1 isolate, to help identify antibiotics in endophytic microbes.
Study on endophytic bacteria for bioactive compound production use as plant protection agent
TLDR
Fermentation process was conducted to collect the bioactive compound against pathogen and thin layer chromatography analysis showed specific spot, different from standard (media), which was purple in color after sprayed with CeSO4.
Endophytes of Medicinal Plants
TLDR
If the bioactive product of the endophytic microorganisms is unique to it and is not produced by the host, this would not only reduce the need to harvest slow growing and possibly rare plants but also preserve the world's ever-diminishing biodiversity.

To deal with increasing number of drug-resistant pathogens EB could serve as a potential source of novel antibiotics.
Isolation and characterization of plant growth promoting endophytic bacteria and their effect on tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum) and chilli (Capsicum annuum) seedling growth
TLDR
Eight isolates of putative endophytes from surface-sterilized seeds of the crop plants tomato and chilli showed plant growth promotion in terms of an increase in root and shoot length and the number of secondary roots with respect to their host as well as in cross inoculation.
Cytotoxic and antibacterial activities of endophytic fungi isolated from plants at the National Park, Pahang, Malaysia

The role of antibiotic use on plants in the antibiotic-resistance crisis in human medicine is the subject of debate.
Endophytic Bacteria Improve Seedling Growth of Sunflower Under Water Stress, Produce Salicylic Acid, and Inhibit Growth of Pathogenic Fungi
TLDR
Findings indicate that these endophytic bacteria enhance growth of sunflower seedlings under water stress, produce SA, and inhibit growth of pathogenic fungi.
