This study investigated the potential alteration in the amount of 3-hydroxy-3-methylglutaryl coenzyme A (HMG-CoA) reductase messenger RNA (mRNA) and lipoprotein lipase (LPL) mRNA in the livers of C57BL/6 mice after long-term (200 days) treatment with the nonionic surfactant called poloxamer 407 (P-407).
