After Galileo’s death in the mid-sevententh century, mixed mathematics accelerated its race to conquer all the areas of natural philosophy, with the emergence of what was called physico-mathematica. The process did not depend only on Galileo, but it was part of a long wave that started in the Renaissance with the revitalization of mathematics consequences and causes of European technological development.
