We show that when the electron and hole densities are unbalanced, observable nonlinear anomalous Hall effect and current-induced orbital magnetization appear at zero magnetic field in the weak charge ordering (CO) state of an organic two-dimensional Dirac fermion system, a-(BEDT-TTF)2I3. These current-induced phenomena are caused by a finite Berry curvature dipole resulting from inversion symmetry breaking and Dirac cone tilting. In the actual system, however, these effects are canceled out…

Thermal difference reflectivity of tilted 2D Dirac materials

Deviation from perfect conical dispersion in Dirac materials, such as the presence of mass or tilting, enhances control and directionality of electronic transport. To identify these signatures, we

Quantum kinetic theory of nonlinear thermal current

We investigate the second-order nonlinear electronic thermal transport induced by temperature gradient. We develop the quantum kinetic theory framework to describe thermal transport in presence of a

Anisotropic and valley-resolved beam-splitter based on a tilted Dirac system

We investigate theoretically valley-resolved lateral shift of electrons traversing an n–p–n junction bulit on a typical tilted Dirac system (8-Pmmn borophene). A gauge-invariant formula on

The observed NLAHE features, current direction dependence and correlation with CO, are consistent with the previous estimation assuming 2D massive DF with a pair of tilted Dirac cones, and the first observation of topological transport in organic conductors.

Optical properties of massive anisotropic tilted Dirac systems

We explore the effect of valley-contrasting gaps in the optical response of two-dimensional anisotropic tilted Dirac systems. We study the spectrum of intraband and interband transitions through the
