Porcine parvovirus was propagated in PK-15 cells cultured in roller bottles or on microcarrier beads. After inactivation, the virus was used as antigen in the preparation of vaccines. The immunogenic potency and safety of the vaccines were evaluated in specific pathogen free pregnant gilts and guinea pigs.
