The work is divided into two main parts. The first part (chapter 2 and chapter 3), is a study of potato tuber moth popula¬ tion ecology in fields. In chapter 2, the occurrence of damage in the field is analyzed by means of two multi-disciplinary on-farm surveys (1987, 1990) conducted at har¬ vest time. Thereby particular emphasis is given to the agronomic practices affecting the damage.
