Polymorphonuclear cell function had been studied in 58 Type I diabetic subjects. Chemotaxis, phagocytosis, adherence, bactericidal activity, NBT reduction capacity were evaluated. We enumerated gamma Fc receptor bearing polymorphonuclear cells and the percentage of immune complexes containing polymorphonuclear cells.
