OBJECTIVE To evaluate the prevalence of resistance mutations in the genome of HIV-1 F subtype strains isolated from Romanian antiretroviral (ARV) treatment-naïve patients and to assess the phylogenetic relatedness of these strains with other HIV-1 strains.
