This study investigated the feasibility of the use of polymeric microparticles for sustained and local delivery of immunomodulatory antibodies in immunotherapy of cancer. Local delivery of potent immunomodulatory antibodies avoids unwanted systemic side effects while retaining their anti-tumor effects.
