Polydnavirus was isolated from oviduct calyx in the parasitoid wasp Campoletis chlorideae (Hymenoptera: Ichneumonidae), and termed CcIV. The virus particles consist of fusiform nucleocapsids surrounded by two unit membrane envelopes.
