Rats were given a 0.05% polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB) diet supplemented with adequate nutrients for 10 days and not only PCB-induced lipid peroxidation as measured by thiobarbituric acid (TBA)-reactive substances but also variations of lipid peroxides scavengers in liver and its subcellular fractions (nuclei and cell debris, mitochondrial, microsomal and cytosolic fractions) were investigated.
