Abstract

The title compound, {[Ag(2)(C(8)H(16)N(2)O(6)S(2))(C(6)H(12)N(4))(2)(H(2)O)(2)].12H(2)O}(n), consists of a two-dimensional Ag(I)-hexamethylenetetramine (6,3) net pillared by the 2,2'-(piperazine-1,4-diyl)bis(ethanesulfonate) ligand, which lies across a centre of inversion.
